Two Digital Creatives, LLC, which operates savethisguide.com ("we", "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your information, and the choices you have. It applies to savethisguide.com and to the guides we sell.
Information you give us. When you buy a guide we collect your name, email address and billing information. If you contact support, we collect what you tell us. If you give us a phone number, we collect that too.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we collect your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, and the links and buttons you interact with. We also create a random click identifier so we can tell which advertisement brought you here.
Session recordings, only if you allow them. If you agree, our analytics provider records how you move through the site, including mouse movement, scrolling, clicks and taps, and can replay that session for us. We use this to find broken and confusing parts of the site. We do not currently use session recording at all. See section 4.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, tax returns, medical records or financial account numbers. Please do not send them to us. Our guides are written so you never need to give us any of it.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it in the following ways, and only these ways.
Advertising measurement, including a shared identifier. When you buy, we send Meta a hashed (scrambled) version of your email address, along with the value of the order, so Meta can tell us which advertisement produced the sale. Hashing means we do not send your email in readable form, but it is still an identifier that Meta can match to an account. Under California law this counts as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands. Section 7 explains how to opt out.
Analytics. We send Google Analytics 4 the pages you view and, when you buy, the order value and a Google Analytics client identifier. We send Microsoft Clarity the interaction data described in section 4.
Payments. Whop is our payment processor and merchant of record. Your card details go to Whop, not to us. We never see or store your full card number. Whop handles your information under its own privacy policy.
Infrastructure. Our site, database and email run on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request data on our behalf in order to serve the site.
Legal and business transfers. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena or court order, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:
About session recording specifically. Microsoft Clarity records your interactions with our pages and lets us replay them. This is switched off. Clarity is not loaded on any page, so no session is recorded. If we ever turn it back on we will say so here first. If you choose "No thanks", or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the recording script is never loaded and we do not ask again. Clarity is also configured to mask text you type into form fields, but you should assume anything you type into a page other than a masked field could be captured. Do not type sensitive information into any page on this site.
To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser settings and we will ask again on your next visit.
How to stop the rest. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can opt out of Microsoft advertising and analytics at the Microsoft opt-out page. You can control Meta advertising in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. Blocking cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
Global Privacy Control. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a valid request to opt out of sharing for advertising, as described in section 7, and as a standing refusal of session recording.
When you buy, you consent to transactional messages about your order, such as your access email and receipts. These are not marketing and you cannot unsubscribe from them while your order is active, because they are how we deliver what you paid for.
Marketing emails are sent only if you opted in, and every one of them carries an unsubscribe link that works. You can also reply to any message, or email info@savethisguide.com, and ask to be removed.
We keep order records, including your email address and what you bought, for as long as you have access to your guides and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is generally seven years. We keep website analytics and session recordings for a shorter period, generally no more than 13 months. We delete or de-identify information when we no longer need it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
To exercise any right, including to opt out of advertising sharing, email info@savethisguide.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". Tell us what you want and the email address you used with us. We will verify that the request is really yours by replying to that address, and we will respond within 45 days. There is no charge. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask that agent for proof of your permission.
California residents. If you are in California, the categories in section 1 are the categories we collect, the purposes in section 2 are why, and the recipients in section 3 are who receives them. The hashed-email disclosure to Meta described in section 3 is "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. Emailing us as described above, or sending a Global Privacy Control signal, is our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism.
Other states. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and Florida, have similar rights and may use the same email address to exercise them. Where the law gives you a right to appeal a decision we make about your request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will answer the appeal in writing.
This site and our guides are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and our services are not directed to children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email info@savethisguide.com and we will delete it.
We use standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and delivery links that expire. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We operate in the United States and our service providers process information in the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be handled in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
This site is operated by Two Digital Creatives, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, which is the business responsible for your information under this policy.
